     水在自然與人類共存的生態系統中相當重要,WISE lab的研究興趣,即藉由整合資料、資訊、知識、智慧與串接各項目之科學方法,針對氣候變遷調適、都會區水文、暴雨管理等議題,提供具氣候智慧之科學服務以解決水文相關跨領域問題,使生態系統朝永續發展目標邁進,另外也致力於建立符合使用者需求的科學服務及促進永續科學價值與影響力。

  Water is essential to the ecosystem. WISE lab tries to resolve the interdisciplinary problems that require hydrological know-how and to advance the ecosystem smartly to meet the sustainable development goals, by facilitating the integration of existing data, information, knowledge, wisdom, and tools connecting them. Moreover, we are devoted to establish the mechanism of effectively delivering the tailored scientific results to the end-users and make these benefits a self-steering organism. WISE lab is especially experienced in climate change adaptation, urban hydrology, and storm water management.

    • 農地、埤塘供排水/熱傳模式/實驗(符合自然解方NbS原則)

    • 抽水站尺度暴雨排水模擬

    • 區域水資源系統供水模式-民生、工業、農業用水

  • 高溫與供排水調適/應變評估

    • 未來設計暴雨方法

    • 調適路徑分析方法(與調適六步法第五步驟有關)

    • 物聯網支援決策方法如樹莓派(RPI)+感測、判斷、控制

WISE lab is exceptionally experienced in:
1.
Sustainable Land-use Planning: 
(a) Optimal Land use planning for thermal comfort regulation
(b) Interdisciplinary agricultural land use model for nutrients, trading, emission, biodiversity, and water footprint (related to climate mitigation)

2. Urban Hydrology and Stormwater Management:
(a) Hydrological and Thermal modeling/experiment of green roof and rainwater harvesting system
(b) Forecasting the soil water content of grassland, farmland, and hillsides
(c) Hydrological and Thermal modeling/experiment of farmland and ponds for strategies following principles of Nature-based Solutions (NbS)
(d) Optimal LID planning model for stormwater surcharge reduction at community scale
(e) Stormwater surcharge simulation at pumping station sub-catchment scale
(f) Regional water-supply-system model for domestic, industrial, and agricultural usage

3. Response/Adaptation Analysis to Heatwaves, Drought, and Flood:
(a) Future design storms projection model
(b) Response/adaptation pathway analysis
(c) Internet of Things (IoT) based decision support method- Raspberry Pi sensing, judging, and control
(d) Analysis of response/adaptation to urban heat island
